Ukraine captain Anatoliy Tymoschuck has attempted to play mind games with England ahead of Tuesday’s important World Cup Qualifier.

The 34 year old is one of his nation’s top players having been part of the Bayern Munich side that won the famous treble last season. He has since moved back to his former club Zenit St. Petersburg in the Russian Premier League.

He said that England are not a real team like Ukraine. He says that we have top players who have been at the very top of world football with their clubs but they cannot play well with each other in the national team. He is actually right when he says that as many England fans will agree.

This is all still a feeble attempt to un-nerve the team that will go out against Tymoschuck and his men.

He has pointed out that England have several bad injuries that have plagued the side this week. He points out that there are none as bad as Wayne Rooney as he is our top player.

England fans should expect a tough game against the Ukrainians as they have the ethic to beat us if they really work at it. Their wide men Eugene Konoplyanka and Andriy Yarmolenko will be the biggest threat to us.

Konoplyanka in particular is a threat, remember this from the first qualifier last year:
